Aquatic Monitoring
Since 2018, ERRP has collected water temperature data and recorded fish community structure at over 20 locations in the Tenmile Creek watershed. Although Thomas Gast Associates Environmental Consultants collected flow data that is reported on the flow monitoring page, temperature probe deployment was another way of recording flow conditions as probes showed exposure to air. Read about the conditions in Tenmile Creek in various water years, which can fluctuate greatly with flows. For salmon and steelhead to thrive into the future, we need to restore Harmony in the watershed by thinning forests, restoring meadows and native grasses and use wood from forest health thinning to rebuild stream channels.
